Multi-way battle
A battle with more than two participants — covers 2v2, 1v2, 1v3, 3v1 and other team or asymmetric formats.
Also known as: Multi-PK, Team battle, 2v2
A multi-way battle is any battle with more than two streamers. It covers symmetric team formats (2v2 — two creators on each side) and asymmetric ones (1v2, 1v3, 3v1) where one side has fewer streamers than the other.
Multi-way battles change the gifting dynamic in important ways. In a 2v2, viewers' gifts pool to their side's combined total — strategy involves coordinating with a teammate who can pull their weight. In an asymmetric 1v3, the lone creator is at a numerical disadvantage but their audience may rally harder, and the diamond-per-creator yield on a win is dramatically higher than splitting a 2v2 victory.
Streampace's battle profitability view treats each format as a distinct strategic class. The most actionable insight is usually average diamonds per battle by format — many creators discover they earn significantly more per minute in 1v1 than in 2v2 (or vice versa), even though 2v2 feels safer.
