Coin

The viewer-side currency for TikTok Live gifts. Bought directly from TikTok at roughly $0.0104 USD per coin.

Also known as: TikTok coin, Live coin

Coins are what TikTok viewers buy from TikTok and spend on Live gifts. They are the input side of the gift economy — a viewer purchases a coin bundle, then spends those coins on whatever gifts they want to send during streams.

The canonical price is $0.0104 USD per coin, anchored to the 1,000-coin bundle ($10.40). iOS in-app purchases sometimes carry a small Apple-tax markup, but the published USD-region rate is the rate Streampace uses everywhere.

Coins are not the same thing as diamonds. Coins are bought, gifts are paid in coins, and the recipient creator earns diamonds — at a 1:1 coin-to-diamond ratio. The viewer-paid price and the creator-side value are different rates entirely.
