TikTok LIVE Pro requirements explained (2026)

The complete LIVE Pro eligibility breakdown — monthly diamonds, followers, and per-stream concurrent viewers — and why most agencies miss it without realising.

Published

LIVE Pro is TikTok's recognition badge for top streamers. It signals algorithmic priority, opens better sponsorship lanes, and is one of the harder retention levers an agency has: a creator carrying the badge is materially less likely to walk to another agency. Here are the actual thresholds — and the catch that bites most management agencies.

The three thresholds

TikTok evaluates LIVE Pro status on three signals, evaluated monthly. The diamond floor is non-negotiable; the second criterion is an OR clause between follower count and per-stream engagement.

  • 1,000,000 diamonds in the calendar month — the hard revenue floor.
  • 100,000 followers OR 100 average concurrent viewers per stream — engagement criterion (either path qualifies).

Where agencies typically fail

The diamond threshold ends up the gate for most rosters, not the engagement one. A 1M-diamond month at $5/1000 diamonds is roughly $5K creator-side gross — that's a meaningful stream cadence. Falling 50K diamonds short on the 28th of the month is the single most common missed-Pro outcome we see, and it's almost always preventable with a scheduled push in the final week.

The four facts to track per creator

  • Diamond pace mid-month vs. the 1M floor — at day 15, are you on track for ≥2M projected?
  • Average concurrent viewers per stream over the last 30 days — trending toward 100, or away?
  • Follower count and 30-day delta — slow-burning growth or stagnation?
  • Distance to next-Pro milestone — three streams away, ten streams away, or already a lock?

What it unlocks

LIVE Pro creators see better algorithmic surfacing on the For You + Live discovery rails, get prioritised entry into TikTok's LIVE Sponsorship program (brand-paid streams), and qualify for higher Creator Network bonus brackets. From a retention angle: the badge is visible to viewers and competing agencies. A creator carrying Pro is harder to poach because they'd lose that signal when they switch agencies and have to rebuild it.
